Home Health and Hospice (HHH)

 

Home Health claims for Medicare patients are claims for skilled nursing care given in a patient’s home. Hospice care claims are for Medicare patients with a life expectancy of 6 months or less.

 

 

Medicare has designated three different Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to handle claims processing for authorized HHH claims based on the location of the provider . To determine which MAC to submit claims to, please view the map found here: HHH MAC Map
