American Specialty Health - ASHLink
Please follow the Enrollment Instructions below to become an electronic submitter for American Specialty Health.
In order to bill claims electronically to the American Specialty Health ASHLink network, providers must call 1-800-972-4226 and request a User ID, Password and Pin for the ASHLink Clearinghouse.
Once you receive your log in information for www.ashlink.com you must do the following:
Login to your account
Click Batch Claims at the top and complete the Questionnaire
For your Practice Management System, Please enter the information for the software or vendor that creates your 837 files you need Claimshuttle to transfer for you. If you have paid for our billing software please call our support line for our software information.
Yes Claimshuttle is able to submit batch claims
Choose both on the question asking how you currently submit claims
Choose Yes to receive more information about testing for batch claims with ASH
Submit your Questionnaire
Check your Message Center (Inbox) in your Ashlink account to make sure you have been approved for Testing.
Once you have been approved for Testing, call your Claimshuttle Support team for assistance in setting up your new ASH Link mailbox for testing at 602-439-2525 option 1.
Please have 5 test claims ready for testing. Test files should consist of a variety of claims that represent the type of claims you will be submitting once production status is achieved. Test claims will not be processed for payment but will be validated against production files; therefore, they must contain valid patient procedure, diagnosis, and provider information.
You may need the following information regarding delimiters:
Segment Terminator: ~ (tilde)
Element Separator: * (asterisk)
Component (Sub element) Separator: : (colon)
Do not include a Carriage Return
Choose the Dial up (BBS) option for connection
We can now process 276/277 requests (claim status). If this is a transaction you would like to utilize please make sure to enroll with the payer.
